Can No time + No Money = Financial Freedom?

An old adage in world of personal finances is that the quickest way to riches comes from utilizing other people’s time (OPT) and other people’s money (OPM).
After seeing the concept of OPT and OPM pop up time and time again as I furthered my education in the areas of business, personal finance, real estate, marketing and leadership, I came up with an idea designed to test the knowledge I’ve been building on for the last couple years. Can I create a business from nothing? Can I create a steady stream of income that comes purely from utilizing other people’s time and other people’s money?
Many people feel owning your own business is an integral part of the American dream. they want the freedom and riches that can only come from owning your own business. However, many of us hear little voices holding us back. We say to ourselves various derivatives of “I just don’t have the time” and/or “I don’t have the money required to start a business.”
I aim to show how one can go to nothing to financially free in a short period of time with no work. I will catalog my experiences through this here blog. I have formulated a set of rules that I must abide by as I progress in this “game.” These rules are designed to minimize the amount of my own personal efforts that will go into creating this new business. I will share these self-imposed rules in later posts. I think it will be an interesting road ahead!
